Johan van der Voet


Johan is a composer who lived & worked in Spain (Madrid), London (UK) and now runs his own post production studio in The Netherlands.
His well-equipped studio provides music for films, games, television and multimedia projects mostly combined with sounddesign, foley and ADR in order to help film and game producers get great sound within their budgets.

He is a member of ECSA, BUMA/STEMRA and member of the Dutch Media Composers (BCMM). 

Specialties: Composition, Sound Design, Orchestral Scoring, Production tracks and Music Production for all media in any format from action/adventure to a Dark Horror Film Score.
His music is used by Discovery channel, NBC (Dateline), MTV and BBC (Gadget show) and many more. As a film composer he has worked on more than 50 (short) film productions and is now working on the new score for the 1924 silent film “L’inhumaine”.repetitie-inhumaine

As a film music composer Johan van der Voet was nominated in 2012 for the “Best Media Composer” award by Buma/Stemra. The original score for the documentary “The Future Behind” helpt to secure a first price and nominations in several film festivals in 2014.
